Independent Pharmacy Contractors Network

Independent pharmacy contractors, together

IPCN is a member-owned network for independent pharmacy contractors — peer support, shared insight and a collective voice on the issues that affect your business.

What IPCN is for

Contractor-led

Governance and priorities set by members, not by suppliers or multiples.

Your independence

Membership supports how you run your pharmacy — it does not standardise it.

Peer exchange

Practical conversation with owners facing similar contractual and operational pressures.

Office support

Clear information on eligibility, membership and how the network operates.

Why the network exists

Shared pressures, shared experience

Independent contractors carry accountability for patients, staff, compliance and the long-term viability of the business. NHS contractual change, regulation, workforce and cost pressures land on the owner.

IPCN exists so that experience is shared between contractors, not repeated in isolation — and so independent pharmacy has a credible voice in the discussions that shape the sector.

Membership

One payment of £240 per year excluding VAT (£288 including VAT). Sending the form does not take the money and does not make you a member. IPCN reviews the application first.

If you are accepted, the fee is for:

  • A collective voice with other independent contractors
  • A peer network of owners, not outside competitors
  • Clearer information on contractual and regulatory change
  • Practical support for the decisions only an owner has to make
  • Your member area: news, events and resources
