Who membership is for
Independent contractors
IPCN membership is intended for independent pharmacy contractors — typically owners or directors of pharmacies that are not part of a large multiple.
If you are unsure whether you qualify, contact the office before you apply. Each application is reviewed; approval is not automatic.

Not a buying group or franchise
Members retain full independence over how they operate. IPCN does not prescribe a single business model or supplier arrangement.
The network exists to share insight and represent contractors — not to run your pharmacy for you.
One membership
One payment of £240 per year excluding VAT (£288 including VAT). Sending the form does not take the money and does not make you a member. IPCN reviews the application first.
If you are accepted, the fee is for:
- A collective voice with other independent contractors
- A peer network of owners, not outside competitors
- Clearer information on contractual and regulatory change
- Practical support for the decisions only an owner has to make
- Your member area: news, events and resources
